So, this is the inauguration
of my website! Welcome one and all, and sundry, and more
besides! o_O7 Here you can see how I waste my time, all
the time! - besides playing videogames and watching movies
and things like that, which wouldn't be very interesting to
put in here, though if it's a good one, I'll put down that I saw/played
it and what I thought. The site's not very big yet (with an
archive of 1), but it's going to be rather large after a couple
of years worth of pictures. See all the
things I have to put up in the 'Categories'?
They'll all have to go up eventually. I plan to update once a day in chronological order
until I catch up to whatever date I'll be at by then,
and then it'll just be whenever - although I'll try to make
it the same. I have about four sketchbooks to go through first
before we get anywhere near current times, however. There may
be a few days at the beginning where I don't or can't update:
this is due to the fact that this is my first website and I'm
not quite sure how to organize it. I could just join Deviantart,
but this is a lot more cool, I think! This space with the text is
going to be a sort of journal space. I hope all the bugs are worked out
- if you find that one page looks funny compared to the others, or
doesn't link to where it says it should, then e-mail me atelfinesse(a)hotmail(dot)com
Or just e-mail me anyway. It doesn't matter.
So, yeah, this is my first picture of Zela, my first real creation. It's so old, it's on scrap paper without a date and I almost couldn't find it again in my folder of 'really old elf stuff'. This was drawn somewhere around 2001, I think. I did remember that it existed, and I wanted it to be the first here. She's evolved a lot since then! Still, this is the first picture of her, so it's special. I still try to get the tall slim look I achieved here, even if I'm much more advanced everywhere else (it's the leaning tower of Zela!). I draw short legs unless they're hidden by a long skirt, so that is my problem. Unfortunately, the original has had some of the blank space on it scribbled over with a note by my mom to remind her of something - the picture part was covered up by other papers - but it's still intact. I don't think it has a date, but Zela's first conceptions go back to at least 2001, so that's when I've dated it up at the top.
