Today, we have something different!
This is a drawing of a sperm whale fighting a giant
squid. I remember I had the wierd idea that I was going to
paint - paint - a whole series of these things and then
sell them for a lot of money! Wierd me... Anyway, I think that this
picture is really good, even now. Even the water turned out nice.
I think I had help from a 'how to draw' book, though. I think that
squid is going to lose at least one tentacle, anyway. I wonder if
the skinniness of the whale's tail is realistic, or if it's too skinny...
I like this picture still, a dramatic contrast to yesterday. Hah. This goes in the miscellaneous category rather than
the endless ranks of elves, too. Unfortunately, it doesn't get
a link down the side of the home page.But tomorrow, it's back to elves again. So sorry. I should have done more of these.
I found out that the early Fire Emblem games, from which some of those movies I watched came, are downloadable as ROMs. I'm not sure whether I should do this. I think I'll wait and see if they're downloadable into Wii. If those ROMs are fan translations or something, I don't want to rip off Nintendo. I did see a Wii video on YouTube in which two guys couldn't play as Marth while using their Super Smash Bros. Melee Gamecube disk in their Wii: they kept getting an error message. I'll keep that in mind when I get a Wii. Maybe their disk was damaged.
