Today marks the beginning of a new section: The Writing Page! This comes about because Aunt Kelly phoned me about something completely unrelated, and we started talking about this, and I decided to stop dropping hints in the babble section and actually give you a backstory. So, the awfully horrible and terrifyingly bad first draft is now in the writing section so you can get a better feel for what this is 'all about'. And, if I can't date a writing project, it'll go in there right away. My aunt had lots of constructive things to say, so I say: thank you!

Now I can apologize for the really long wait  that's been between Monday and today. You see, Tuesday at lunch, Kevin was watching Robbie the Reindeer: The Lost Tribe (nonessential detail) and I turned around for five seconds to watch the climax (which is fabulously funny) and when I turned back again, the computer had crashed. And burned. And died. This is the first time since we got it (about four years ago) that that's happened. It worked great, otherwise. For those who are wondering why I'm using such an old computer, I'll tell you why it's fine for me. It has a word processor, and reasonable Internet, and it can play all the games I want it too - including Freecell (my average is now 71% wins - highest win streak is 17). So, it was broken. We'd also been experiencing massive wind storms (as well as rain and hail), yes, very stormy 'round here, soaked while walking to organ practice, and then Dad went out and got something to fix it yesterday. Then he started playing Star Wars Battlefront, so I couldn't use it. It also decided to update Internet Explorer, and when I first saw it, I said "Aahhh! Escape!" and turned it off and trotted away quickly. And argh, the buttons are too small! Can't find anything!

This means, for the website, that (it's not my fault for once!) and that I'm just putting up one new page today, and then try a triple update tomorrow or something when I have more time. I'm also changing the wording from "posted (date)" to "posted for (date)" because I insist on having one everyday, and if I miss one, I must have it perfect! Rarh! or something... ^_^7

And, please, if you find ANY links that don't work, e-mail me! I need to fix everything, and it gets more complicated when I have more sections to fill in. You know the e-mail: elfinessewebsite@hotmail.com, so send anything you like.

About that story: it's a text version of the roleplay that my friend and I did over and over and over again, usually with Lego people. I have done (checks files) about five versions, and most of them are identical in most wording. This is the longest one, and probably the last and best, but I'm starting new again, mwa ha ha! This new new new one is even better, and I'm actually constructing a plot framework, so it should come out all right.

Well, my brother's been in his bedroom since Sunday, but his stuff is still all over the living room. Blah.
