Well, Eric survived the night. In the morning he had snow blown
all over him, but it was light, fluffy snow that just drifted there.
I blew, and it came off. We had another snowball fight today, even though
I didn't feel like it. It was fun chasing my brother around. And we
have the most gorgeous icicles!!! I've never really seen icicles like
this in my life before!!! I didn't live in a climate where they could form,
so I guess this dry, cold, windy, rainy atmosphere is good for something.
It still owes me big time for my violin bow, though. The icicles are beautiful!
They go in strange directions! We have a hanging basket that looks like
a chandelier from one side!Today's picture is dizzying in its terribleness. I absolutely hate this picture now. Rahr. (chews picture) Okay, this is supposed to be what happens when you leave a girl for seven years in the company of evil nutcases - her mind snaps. Well, it was two years. I guess I figured it was terrible even at the time, because the little words for explanation turn it into almost a cartoon. Rana: Grrrr. Link=shocked and saddened. Yeah, right. I don't think so! Nice sword, though.
Ugh, and the anatomy is all wrong, although I was proud of the way Rana's ribs are showing... although if she's seventeen (she is) she ought to have a bigger chest no matter how starved and emaciated she is. I did use a ruler for the cupboard, which makes the lines straight... And those ears are once again ridiculous, and look at the noses! Or rather, don't look! Agh! Supposed to be from the story, or it was from the story as I imagined it then, but, uh, I'm changing 3/4 of the dialogue, 7/8 of the action, and 100% of the setting. Might not be much better now, but at least it's not so DUMB.
Tomorrow's picture will be a welcome break from all this bad art. Whew. Can't wait.
Computer coding question... can anyone tell me how to write a code to automatically say (x/n+1) with x being the number of the picture and n the number of pages in archive with +1 the title page? because it's getting a bit annoying: half my time is spent in changing the numbers below the pictures, and there must be an easier way. I guess I could just say (1) (2) etc. but that would be less interesting.
