Link has just beat the Forest Temple and his best friend Saria has become one of the six/seven Sages, so she has to stay there, at least for the time being. Even though Link has grown up and will never remotely be a Kokiri again, she wants him to know that they'll always be best friends. My computer is currently at a higher resolution, and that's why this picture is so wide.

Saria's too short in this picture, but other than that, it's quite nice. Saria's way too short. Guh. That's my new word of the month: guh.

Another use of the word guh: I had to learn three violin pieces (which were luckily DEAD easy) and play them at choir tonight. Guh, I was nervous. I'm using my dud bow that warps the wrong way, not the dud bow that has a crack in it. I just learned that that good bow cost about $700. I hope we can get a goodish bow for about half the cost or something because I don't want to put my family through a lot just for a violin bow I'm only going to use about half as much as I used to.

I'm going to get the Warhammer model of their Everqueen person (and paint her to look like Idril Celebrindal, heh heh) pretty soon, I think. Oh, I forgot to mention that I took out a subscription to White Dwarf finally, making all the guys at the shop happy, and since I didn't like any of their 'free with subscription' special models I picked one that Kevin liked: Tau Pathfinder, whatever that is. It isn't particularly flashy, as far as I can tell, but at least it would fit in with his army. I'm working on Tuor's cloak, and it has highlights on the inside. I guess I should do the outside first, though, since it'll be easier.

At Collegium, we played eight-hand duets! Two pianos, four people. It was great fun, even though we were sightreading and the noodles were way too hard to get in the Water Music excerpt. We also played a Sicilienne by Bach that was originally for flute and piano, and a really super-fun piece called the Champagne Tocatta by Gillock! I want to learn that one for real!
