<-- Last Ceniro   Next Ceniro -->
Ceniro! Well, more like... the back of Ceniro's head! and Lyn's back! and Lyn's house!

Wow, interesting. Anyhow, this is from the prologue of my fan-novelization of Fire Emblem 7. For those who don't want to bother reading it (good choice) here's the short story:
Ceniro is attacked by axe-wielding bandits.
Ceniro defends self with staff.
Ceniro is knocked out by bandits.
Bandits run away from Lyn, strong-woman-with-a-sword.
Lyn takes care of Ceniro until he wakes up.
The bandits are back.
Lyn defeats bandits.
Lyn asks Ceniro if she can journey with him to places unknown. (That's actually not my lame plot device; it's theirs!)
Actual story begins.

This, in the game, is the beginning of the tutorial, and it teaches you how to move, attack, and use items.

This picture is a bad picture in any case. How to draw people walking under the weight of a skinny half-starved guy who's slightly taller than they are? Not like this, that's for sure.

Monday had a great concert by Aquiles Delle Vigne. I'm not sure that he played what was listed on the first half of the program, but I like the Jeux d'eau d'un villa d'est or whatever it was called by Liszt - that, at least, I'm certain was there. He played his own one-piano arrangement of Rhapsody in Blue, and then we made him do three encores, poor guy! He could make us wait a little longer for 'em, though. Then he might not have to do so many.

Also, new episode of Skyland was on Sunday! Aran Cortez is a very interesting character. And, although the scripting was worse than usual, and the animation wasn't as good as some episodes, it had its moments:
Christoff: Did I forget to mention the enemy water tanker is heavily guarded by air mines?
Mahad: Did I forget to mention that I'm the best pilot in Skyland?
Go, go, Mahad. He's still an idiot, though. As for the impasse at the end? The climax? Alex Rou (or Rowe, if you're English) would've been out of there in seconds. The Cortezes need to take lessons from him. Too bad they can't. -_-7
