I chose an unusual subject for a picture this time: me! Aaaaah!As I wrote at the bottom of the page: "It is strange to see a decapitated, frozen copy of myself staring back at me." I'll say. It still gives me a little shivers. And I got my haircut since then, so I look different... Well, it's not bad, but I have a bigger nose than that.
Today we saw a hawk in the apple tree! Dad thinks it's a sharp-shinned hawk, based on the bird book.
All the cherry trees in Victoria are coming into bloom, too, and it's been fairly sunny the past couple of days - not like Monday.
New chapter of RnK. I managed to get out of sync with the game, so now there will be some actual lame cliffhangers at the end of each chapter! I should just start from scratch and see where I get... I think it might be even more interesting... At least Matthew is joining up next chapter, and Ceniro will have lots of buddy-pals - as you may recall, his best friends include Lyn, Kent, Sain, Wil, and Matthew. And he's supportive of Florina. I was going to entitle this one New Friends, but then I realized Matthew wasn't there yet. Meh. So, Chapter 5 will be New Friends, which lets you know that Lyn survives, since there're more chapters... but you knew that anyway...
Concerts on Saturday and Sunday... blah.
I finished downsizing all the pictures, so I have made a little amendment to the About page.
I'm listening to someone play Couperin on the 'coat hanger machine' (a nickname I have for the harpsichord... sounds like a bunch of those wire coat hangers).
One thing I'm regretful about... there's a wallpaper of Gauthicus on True Magic, but I can't get it because I need to donate money, and while I'd love to support TM, I need a credit card and I don't have one. Oh, yes, TM rocks so hard I'd spend money to keep the good times going. Plus which, that's a pretty nice wallpaper... Also, it seems she needs the money by the end of February especially, and I don't think I can get a working credit card in that time...
