This is supposed to be Luthien the Fair. Actually, pretty good, but I've never seen a Luthien that I considered as beautiful as the most beautiful woman in the world. Here's an artist that comes close, though.

Today I received a commission of sorts. If I can't learn the accompaniment to a Martinu trio, Amye (who won the CYMC Concerto Competition a couple years ago) will not be able to play it in the Festival. Ookay-doke.

One more picture to go in this sketchbook, and then we start another! Only 1... 2... 3... and maybe a half more to go!

Today my brother got impatient on Zelda again. I don't have time to play! Really!

Man, Dad was going through packing boxes looking for something (books?) and found a small repository of STUFF I did when I was about five years old and it was hilarious - I laughed until I cried, and I could tell, because I recently got a small infection in my right eye so it leaks fluid but when I was laughing my left eye was crying too. It had stuff like my first book-to-write-music-in (score paper, we call it now) and it was so funny. Dad says I should show Stephen Brown, my composition teacher. Also there were letters to Santa, one like this: I bet you have lots of friends. Can I have a mandarin "orinj"? I must have just learned to write, from the scribbliness of it, though you must admit the spelling for 'orange' was pretty logical, though not accepted widely. And there was one from Prince Tamino (of the Magic Flute) to Queen Jadis (of the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe) inviting her over for a tea party! O_O7
