At
the Filburg Festival (Comox Valley thing in August) I took a picture of my
Mom, because she was pretty. She's wearing a pink dress with little flowers
and a straw hat. I remember my friend Jessie was with me. I wanted to turn
it into a watercolour for a birthday present for her, and I did a few practice
paintings, but I never got the shadows dark enough. I should finish that
this summer.
