proof that I can occasionally draw! This is one of my brother's favourite
pictures - that I drew. It's of the Marth Smash Trophy from Super Smash Bros.
Melee. It did come out well, although the tail end of the cloak clearly has
some problems with subtlety - and not just in my picture.The picture before this was a really hacky picture of Sangwine, so hacky I didn't figure it worthy of putting up. I guess Colby Purcell had started her fan-art contest. But his hand was so awful I gave up, and his face was barely recognizable.
(sigh) I miss so many things even when I'm trying my hardest. Turns out there was a sort of welcome party for the UVic music school students. Blaaaah. I'm studying for the exam/exemption test. I'm not sure which I'll get because I need to talk to my teacher again. I'm going through the theory book and making sure I know everything. I'm also studying the Cantus Firmus counterpoint. I just need to know it by Tuesday, and I'm going to use the method described in Use Your Head which I read recently just randomly.
My room is much cleaner. It's almost liveable. The table is 90% clean. The floor is still only 60% clean. I still have some piles to go through, but I've gone through some. What's left ended up in piles of things either that I still have to go through (oops) or that I don't have a place for. Also, my pictures need hanging.
Michael (the one who plays piano) is in my composition class! Very interesting. It's an odd class. The teacher says that if we spell Messiaen's name wrong we'll fail. And John Cage is going to be popular or something. Just no ground beef will be involved (seems to be a school joke of some sort).
