I decided to do a little
realism. I wanted to do my brother. He insisted on posing with a graham cracker
in his mouth and his elbow on the box. So I put it up today TO EMBARRASS
HIM MWAHAHAHAHA!!!Okay, seriously, this doesn't look like him at all. Phooey. On the other hand, nice ear.
Thursday I played my Beethoven concerto cadenza like mush - and that was the good part of the concerto. The rest is 'in shambles'. Then my teacher very nicely drove me to the art gallery where my composition teacher wanted his class to see the 'beautifulbeautiful artificial field', an exhibition by an artist who makes sculptures out of fluorescent lights, basically. I liked the photographer's gallery better, but the other guy was giving a talk on his stuff. I also got a little time to see the Japanese textile exhibition. My heels started to really hurt, but I saw a 'light sculpture' that I immediately dubbed "My Tornado is Resting" (look at yer Windows Media Player) because I couldn't hear what he called it. I also came up with the idea to write a piece for Theramin, lights, and fans. I think I'll write a nice piece for Theramin first, though.
