New characters!!! Sort of.The lad on the left is the new and improved version of Firefly, who then found his Kalma'eiric name Lyrestan. He's Flaer's little brother, if you didn't remember, and the only other picture of him is all the way back here. (ugh) The lass on the right is Kyliralessa, or maybe Kylyralessa but that looks stupid. It means Golden-haired Gull, and she's the new and improved version of this little princess.
And yes, they are madly in love. Yay! I greatly admire Lyrestan's hair in this one. It's so smooth and shiny.

Story time! Or at least, to tell what I heard this weekend. I heard about Grandpa's education, which was fascinating, like how he got into highschool in (Montreal?) and what he did for a summer job that year, and Blackie and the Princess and Blackie and the Polka-dot Telephone (hysterical) and their trip to Ireland last spring and Uncle Dean learning to play bagpipes. Also they told us lots about their trip to Germany! Uncle Dean told us about his trip to Paris! I want to go to Europe now!
Monday Uncle Dean played his bagpipes (which he brought) for us. They're really pretty, and they're a rare make. They have silver on them. They're loud in the living room, but gorgeous. Then Kevin played his Sonata thing and I played Claire de Lune. It's Dad's favourite.
Ideas for Zela contest... pick a character and draw him/her. Try to draw more current characters, like the two above, rather than from the dozen or so first drawings.
Fanfiction also welcome, but there's not much to go on there...
If you want to draw a different character that I made up, that would be great too. Just don't draw a 'canon' character on their own from any of the franchises I have represented; e.g. Sesshoumaru, Link, Glorfindel. If you want to put them in the picture along with my characters, go ahead!
You can even mix the characters from different worlds together!
