Zela!
In colour! Wow! I used colouring pencil on this, and I think it turned out
quite well. Her lips are so very smooth... soon after I drew this I had a
dream in which I was kissing goodbye a golden haired blue eyed elf leaving
for Valinor and he had lips exactly the same. I should draw him. Maybe he'll
be one of Layalin's sons.Anyway, so I know there's something not quite right with the chin, and her hair doesn't quite go right, but I like this picture very much!
I will try to put up more than one picture for the rest of this week each day.
I have, in the last month, become obsessed with Final Fantasy VII. Considering I knew nothing about it before, that's probably pretty good. I watched the walkthrough of the original game on YouTube, and I rented the Advent Children movie (and then bought it this week when I went to get a haircut) and I watched as much of Dirge of Cerberus I could find. I also tried to find more Crisis Core, but I couldn't. And my new favourite bishounen is Vincent Valentine. I've been thinking about his story, and I figure: Lucrecia didn't choose Hojo over him because she's crazy - though she rather was - but because she thought by marrying a scientist, she could learn more and prevent people dying - trying to make up for Vincent's father Grimoire's death. That's my hypothesis. It just screams out of the evidence to me. Though when you put it this way...
Also, Alex came over! It was fun! I showed him my True Magic fanart, and he liked it, and he is a Goon fan, and we had a fun time playing music after supper, in which even my brother joined in, and we went and looked at the lunar eclipse, and we watched The Day the Earth Stood Still because he happened to have it in his backpack for some reason. He brought his ukulele, and my violin was soooo out of tune when I first got it out... it was something like G, Bb, F, and C#, which was pretty bad! And his girlfriend is a lot braver than I am!
Of course, talking to Alex makes me so 'squeeee'-ish later that Flairé actually uses my voice and tells me to calm down 'cause I'm disturbing him. O_O7
