Meet Leon, guitarist, keyboardist, extraordinaire and all around nice guy...He was born very young and sometime after that he learned how to play guitar.  He thought it would help him pick up girls but he should have learned how to fly helicopters.  Leon bought an electric guitar with money he earned from a speakeasy he was running out of his garage (but that’s another story).  He also bought an amp and a pair of parachute pants (you 80’s cats know what I’m talking about).  Leon's first band is too embarrassing to talk about so we’ll just leave it there. His second band was worse than the first and we’ll let that go too.  The third band had visions of grandeur and even larger hair. Visions of stardom and escalading hair gel costs led to an early demise. After a failed attempt at organizing a tribute to Frankie Yankovic and the Polka Kings, he knew he had hit rock bottom. Then Leon joined a rag tag group of misfits known as Backbeat.
And the rest, as they say…is history.
