Bruce received his Masters in Education at SFU in 2004 studying Educational Leadership & Curriculum Design in post secondary settings.

Bruce lives in Vernon BC, part of the Sunny Okanagan, with his wife Maureen.

By day Bruce runs his business Instructional Design & Delivery  specializing in Training, Orientation and documentary videos.  See www.bmidd.com for video samples and how you can get involved in supporting the Commemoration of the Okanagan Hotel Fire in 2009.

Bruce keeps pretty busy cycling, walking and running  around town. He is  currently the chair of the Greater Vernon Cycling Advisory Committee that meets at 8 AM on the 3rd Friday of every month somewhere in Vernon. Email for info on meeting location.

Please click on "ARTICLES" to read Bruce's essays on a variety of non-bicycling topics.

Bruce's interest in teaching and learning was stimulated when he began teaching his hobbies. Beginning with calligraphy and other art interests.  He will be leading a series of  Instructor Development courses at Okanagan College Kal Campus in 2009 - see http://www.bmidd.com/brochures/oc2009.jpg and is equally interested in the practical and theoretical sides of acquiring knowledge, skills and ability - especially sociocultural effects on education and training - the subject of his Masters thesis.
Go to Bruce's website "gonecycling.com" for cycling related material. Bruce has spent many summer weekends and evenings leading CAN-BIKE bicycle skills courses or as guest speaker (regarding cycling safety) and has the potential of entering your living room via TV reruns of the video ‘Roadworthy’ and CBC ‘Cycle.’  His articles about cycling education have appeared in print and on webs across North America.

Read his book and see his pictures  about cycling across Canada. http://gonecycling.com/book/

An avid bicycling educator, Bruce has organised the training for groups of 4 to 120 people! He has facilitated seminars such as: the VACC's ABC's of Cycling Advocacy, Train the Trainer Bike Commuter and Bruce delivered and wrote the book for the Ride Leader Workshop after successfully organising seminars on Bike Touring  and Winter Riding.

Bruce has been awarded Cycling BC ‘Volunteer of the Year’ in 1994 and Presidents Award’ in 1995 and became a CCA CANBIKE National Examiner in 1996 and invited to join the ICBC Bicycle Advisory committee in 1999. In 2000 Bruce and Maureen received the VACC 'Volunteer(s) of the Year' Award.

In cycling education circles across North America, Bruce is known for having created and defined the term "veloquent" in his article about The Social and Emotional Aspects of Transportation Cycling. Find it on  http://www.gonecycling.com/commuter/ or Google: "bruce mol"+veloquent  to read public reaction to the article.

Bruce also binges on baroque and renaissance music, reading and writing non-fiction.
