Bandit & Patches
|
|
When Maureen and I adopted these two rascals from the
SPCA, in October of 1997, we were filling a void left by K.C., a wonderful gray tabby.
K.C. was 19 years old when we put her down in June 1997. So, it had been over a decade
since I had a kitten in the house. I had forgotten what creative nuisances kittens can be.
Patches (below) younger by two weeks remained the smaller cat for only
two months. I didn't know she'd be a long hair cat, and lazy, and I'd never had a cat that
avoids jumping. I'd never had a cat so cute, and she knows it too! Her little face and the
way she tilts her head. She's a talker too.
Bandit. What can I say about Bandit which hasn't been said before about ummm,
well, the Tasmanian Devil comes to mind! Active, fast, a jumper and stalker (poor
Patches!!!) she is dedicated to all her endeavors. When she plays, sleeps or wants
attention, she is very single minded. |
