| Need good specialized work? I get Peter to build my wheels and, earlier
this year, I put him in charge of refinishing my bike and upgrading components. He does it
all and has a mobile service too. It is his wheel building skills that I keep going back
for. Checkout his website. |

| Tour BC. If you are looking for a great cycling experience but worry about
whether the tour guides know their stuff, I can personally recommend my friends at Tour
BC. I have taught, worked with and ridden with the principle tour guides in this group.
They are all accomplished cyclists who love to ride and are good at organizing. |

good help about selecting, riding and maintaining a Tandem. Dan is your man! |

| If you are looking for a knowledgeable, affable and truly helpful person
to help find the right touring or road bike, talk to Noel. Cycling is in his blood and you
won't do better elsewhere in the lower mainland. |

| Last, but not least, of the bike stores, is my local hero. Doug at PoCo
Cycle. I recommend building a good relationship with your local expert. Doug and I have an
unwritten agreement. I don't bug him about price if he doesn't overcharge me. I know the
price he quotes is price he has to sell at to remain in business. I decide, purchase by
purchase, if I want him around town. |
