2007 Awards
The committee is busy planning the upcoming
business awards and Christmas party. We hope by having this function in November
(before the big Christmas rush comes on in December for all the businesses) so
that most of you can attend.
The Lions Club will be catering the turkey dinner and the business awards will
follow the supper.
Once again there will also be a ³Citizen of the Year² and ³Junior Citizen of the
Year² presentation as well. So get your thinking caps on and if there is someone
you would like to nominate for these prestigious awards get prepared to submit
the names and the reasons why they should be chosen.
We have an excellent band booked for the evening. They play an excellent variety
of dancing and listening music. They have played at a couple Stavely functions
and people love them!
It has been a few years since there has been a community Christmas party - so
plan to bring the staff and have a good time. As an organization that is made
up of businesses it is our goal to try to recognize and congratulate those
businesses who go above and beyond to serve the town and our citizens. So come
out and be recognized and help us to recognize our fellow business operators.
So mark your calendar for November 25 and watch for more details to come in
early September.
Cost will be $30 per person.
There will be a limit of 400 tickets available.
