5.      BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES

5.1         Chamber Policy on Hwy #2 Re-Alignment:  Dave said it was discussed at Council.  Mayor Steel will be sending a letter as to their response.  It was discussed whether we should redo the survey as it was a little confusing as to the options.

5.2         Summer Solstice Ideas:  Doug was away, but sent a report.  He thought a flea market day in the downtown parking lot.  A barbecue and have some music of some kind. He did not want to make it so busy that it would be a ton of work for everyone.  If anyone has more ideas please pass them on to Doug Symonds or Don Leonard.

5.3         Chamber Community Calendar:  Barb will present something at the next meeting. She has been busy with the flower pots.

5.4         Town Maps:  We received a letter from the Town saying they cost share the maps and aerial photos.  As this is the first time the aerial photos have been brought up to the Chamber, there was some discussion.  No prices were presented for either the maps or the aerial photos.   David said he thought the maps were also done.

5.5         Sound System:  At the last meeting it was suggested that Kathy look in the past minutes for a price for renting out the sound system and to give this to Shayne Petersen.  Kathy presented that she found in the minutes of June 14/05 that the Chamber would draw up a contract form stating that $50.00 would be the charged with a $25.00 refund if returned in good condition.  Joyce Zwick was to check with Ft. Macleod as to a copy of their contract.  Then in October 11/05 minutes it states that it is not working for people picking up and returning the sound system from the Community Hall, therefore it is to be picked up and stored at the Local Press.   It was suggested that Roxanne make arrangements with Shayne Petersen to pick it and have it available at the Local Press.
