Current Projects

1.  Annual Trade Fair - will take place on February 2 & 3, 2007 at the Claresholm Community Center.
 

2.  Town Beautification - Centennial Flags and Hanging Flower Pots.


An annual program which has enhanced the appearance of our downtown
area as well as along Highway #2. Monetary support is very much appreciated
by way of sponsoring a hanging flower pot. For more information contact:

3.  Centennial Coins - The Chamber has designed and sold a series of Claresholm coins.
              
a)  The first was released in 2000 to celebrate the new millennium.
               b)  The second was released in 2003 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the "Village" of
                    Claresholm.
               c)  The third was released in 2005 in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Town of Claresholm.
                    This coin is available in various locations around town.




This three set coin collection highlights various aspects of our town's history and is still available for purchase:

4. Advertising on the Chamber of Commerce Website:
       Yearly advertising spots are available on our website - you must be a member to take advantage of this
       special opportunity.
 

5. Claresholm Business Awards and Citizen of the Year
       Each year the Chamber runs a business award program which is nominated and voted on by the public.
       These awards will be presented at our Annual Christmas Party and Awards night.

6. Convention Bags
       These are available to organizations and groups for give-a-ways to out of town guests.

7. Claresholm Book
      
This entails a full color glossy book showing all the wonderful things Claresholm had to offer. Twenty four
       pages of information regarding local services, the business community, education, medical facilities,
       recreational facilities, etc.


Past Projects

The Chamber has completed two mural projects in Claresholm:   

1. Located on 50th Avenue West on the east wall of A & B Bakery.

2. Located on 49th Avenue & 2nd Street West on the north wall of Fields.

Currently the Chamber is investigating the possibility of painting on the water tower located on Highway 2.
