MANY ROLES ALONG WITH COUNTLESS HOURS OF BACKGROUND, STAND-IN AND PHOTO DOUBLE WORK HAS MADE 2011 ONE OF THE BEST SUMMER/FALL SEASONS IN FILM WE HAVE SEEN!

OUR ACTORS HAVE ALSO TAKEn PART IN SEVERAL MAJOR PHOTO CAMPAIGNS INCLUDING FAIRWINDS GOLF RESORT AND GRACED THE RAMPS FOR BRIDAL EXPO.   

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THOSE members that landed roles in the productions above.   many more had roles on stage, student films in victoria and vancouver and music videos.   WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THE INDUSTRY GROW EVEN MORE UNDER THE WATCHFUL EYE OF OUR FILM COMMISSIONER KATHLEEN GILBERT.

BEING BACK ON THE FILM COMMISSION BOARD HAS BEEN REWARDING.  IF YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER YET OF THE VICTORIA FILM COMMISSION...WHAT IS HOLDING YOU BACK?   THE MIXERS HAVE BEEN GREAT AND YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON THE HUGE OSCAR NIGHT GALA THAT WILL HAPPEN AT BEAR MOUNTAIN.   LAST OSCAR GALA WAS SO MUCH FUN BUT 2012 OSCAR GALA WILL BE AMAZING.    

Angelique has been selected to model clothing from the 1990's for the Mount Doug Alumni Fashion Show "Fashion through the Decades" which is part of the 80 year celebration event, including Mt Doug Idol's David Foster and Nelly Furtado.

Online Sites:  

  • When emailing with talent questions or actors updates on holidays, resumes, etc., always use  coultishtalent@telus.net     

  • the background division on the website is now commercial talent as we remove photos that are outdated.   those of you on this page are capable of much more than background and we want to make sure clients are aware.   if your photo is not current your file will be put under background talent.   background talent photos will not be listed on the website.

  • "Actors Access"  - We are using this site constantly now and EVERYONE needs TO BE ON IT.  keep your online file up to date.   There is no cost to you.    www.actorsaccess.com

  • "Casting Workbook" - If you have registered with this site, you are responsible for keeping this site current.  If your account becomes "Inactive" due to overdue fees, it will be removed.  if you would like to be on the Casting Workbook but do not wish to travel off Island for auditions then let us know. 

Office Files:  Overly outdated files are removed every six months.  This will keep our roster current and also give those wishing to be with the agency an opportunity to join our talent family.   You can email information anytime to  coultishtalent@telus.net

  • A completed talent agreement pdf form.   Let us know of any changes in your home address, phone numbers, email address and measurements.

  • audition and update information pdf form emailed to the agency. 

  • 3-4 copies of current photo and updated resumes can be emailed to the agency.  

  • New UBCP or other union member?  Don't forget to give us your union numbers.   Remember after doing an union speaking role, you must apply for membership within 6 weeks or you will lose your credit.
