Eleven years of policing in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan was followed by a move to the Matsqui Police Department in Clearbrook, British Columbia which became the Abbotsford Police Department after amalgamation took place. Twenty eight years in the Abbotsford Police in such fields as patrol, traffic, community policing, training section, colour (color) guard, major crime, emergency response team, and that of Station Commander allowed the author to gain the real life experiences needed for his writing.
The author is married with two boys, two girls, and three grandchildren. He and his wife, Shirley, have enjoyed the RV lifestyle traveling North America which has aided the author in providing realistic locales and settings for his novels. Radio interviews, book signings, and background research keep the author busy whether on the road or at home. The author's interests include family, friends, writing, reading, travel, golf, and sometimes.... poker.
