THE REPAIR PROCESS

Most small to medium sized repairs take 1-3 hours to perform. Electrical power is required. As there are some fiberglass and paint related fumes, a ceiling exhaust fan or a window that opens in the bathroom is also needed. Depending on the type of repair and where on the tub or shower the repair is located, will determine when the fixture can be put back into service. Most repairs require waiting to the following day before use. Depending on the type of repair and where it is located on the tub or shower, also determines how cosmetically close the appearance will match stock. Most repairs are virtually invisible. I.E. if you don't tell, no one will know. The repair environment should also be as dust free as possible. Repairs are usually done at the end of the construction process after the clean up crew has gone through. The repair process is not messy. Just temporarily smelly. Generally, most repairs give good serviceability and will last the life of the tub. Cleaning methods don't require adjusting. After a repair has cured for a few days, Gel Gloss can be used to polish off any surface dust that landed on the repair during the drying time.
