Arrived in BC in January 2007. We (wife, Fern and newborn daughter, Isla) needed a second car to get around so I thought it would be good to get a classic. The idea being a British Classic that could take a kid seat in the back - hence the Stag. Within one year all the teething problems of starting, electrics and overheating have generally been solved so not getting so much value from the BCAA membership. Not many Stags in BC so it is regularly admired. It is used all year round and the hardtop is put to good use also. Isla not so keen on the wind in the back seat so looking for a novel solution for some sort of sidescreen.
Enthusiasm for cars comes from father who owns a Delage. Father in law has a Model T also. Still have a Cobra replica back in Scotland with a 1963 Ford Fairlane engine in it that I bought in Manila. I had two Lotuses (340R and Esprit S2) but had to be realistic about multiple ownership of two seaters.
