Open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. year round. Closed for statutory holiday weekends
and if there is snow.
BCGS Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month throughout the year,
beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Danish Lutheran Church, Lower Hall, 6010 Kincaid, Burnaby.

THE BCGS WALTER DRAYCOTT LIBRARY and RESOURCE CENTRE
The Library is closed all holiday weekends. See the BCGS calendar on the main BCGS website.
The BCGS Walter Draycott Library and Resource Center,
located at Unit 211, 12837 - 76th Avenue, in Surrey has well over 16,000 publication
titles, plus numerous census records on fiche, tape and CDROMs. The facility and
equipment such as microfilm/fiche and tape readers, computers (CDROMs and Internet)
and subscription databases are available for use for free to members and $5.00 a day
for non-members. The Library is staffed by volunteers who will help visitors search,
but will not do any research. Please remember your BCGS or affiliate membership card must be shown.
The BCGS Library is a FamilySearch affiliate; you may order films in to view at the Library.

The BCGS. is a non-profit organization formed in 1971. It is incorporated under the
Society Act of British Columbia and is registered with Revenue Canada for the purpose
of tax deductible contributions. The Society has a special interest in British Columbia research, and there are
BCGS groups for most other research areas and topics, such as North America, Great Britain,
Europe, Computers and DNA.
