There are two major volume border crossings in B.C. that carry the majority of traffic into and out of Washington State.

One is the heavily used small vehicle only Peace Arch Crossing, the other the commerical and small vehicle crossing located east of Peace Arch, the Pacific Highway
   Border Crossing.

Other major highway crossings in British Columbia include Point Roberts, Aldergove, Huntington, and Osoyoos.

Peace Arch and Pacific Highway have a very large volume of traffic. Peak times are weekends, particularly mornings and afternoons.
  Border area cams
Through B.C.'s Ministry of Transportation (Advanced Traveller Information System) and the Washington State Department of Transportation, a number of cameras on both
sides of the border can be accessed to see the volume of traffic and conditions at the border.  Another camera - privately run by A & A Contract Customs Brokers at their
facility - on Highway 15  just north of the border provides views south, west, and north in cycles.

This page brings the various locations of these cameras onto one page. You'll see icons on the map. For each of the icons (cameras, message signs, and
points of travel) a sign will appear once the icon is clicked. The sign will indicate what the icon is. The blue diamonds next to the camera icon indicate the approximate
  location of the camera.
