The Lions Gate Bridge provides key access to the North Shore and carries Highway 99 from Vancouver to the ferries at Horseshoe Bay and traffic to Whistler and   Squamish. The bridge and the Stanley Park Causeway are three lanes which are reversible, two are set to one direction, the third the opposite direction based on
  time and anticipated traffic volumes.

The bridge carries through most of the day, a very large volume of traffic.
Peak times are mornings and afternoons and also on long weekends and during major cultural events.

  Lions Gate Bridge area cams

Through B.C.'s Ministry of Transportation (Advanced Traveller Information System), a number of cameras on both sides of the bridge can be accessed to see
the volume of traffic and conditions. Other cameras operated by the City of Vancouver provide views of West Georgia Street at two locations.

This page brings the various locations of these cameras onto one page. You'll see icons on the map. For each of the icons (cameras, message sign, and
points of travel) a sign will appear once the icon is clicked. The sign will indicate what the icon is. The blue diamonds next to the camera icon indicate the
  approximate
location of the   camera.

This page is optimised for 1024 x 768 screen rendition.

  How to use the page

Clicking on one of the blue outlined camera icons will bring up a page upon which the camera can be seen.
The camera imaging is shown in original size.

If an earlier timestamp is shown, click on refresh to update the camera's imaging.

Appearing on the the map on Highways 99/1, is a black and grey overhead sign icon. It provides access to the real time message shown
on the actual sign
located on the highway. The real time message provides current travel conditions.

Clicking on the region inside Stanley Park will bring up a page where the traffic line up and lane direction conditions are shown.
