The
Lions Gate Bridge provides key access to the North Shore and carries
Highway 99 from Vancouver to the ferries at Horseshoe Bay and traffic
to Whistler and Squamish. The bridge and the Stanley Park
Causeway are three lanes which are reversible, two are set to one
direction, the third the opposite direction based on
time and anticipated traffic volumes. The bridge carries through most of the day, a very large volume of traffic. Peak times are mornings and afternoons and also on long weekends and during major cultural events. |
