FITNESS CLASSES Bellies, Babies & Beyond is Calgary's most trusted fitness program for optimal health and fitness during pregnancy and throughout early motherhood. We offer a complete package to help you and your baby stay strong and healthy during pregnancy and to help you regain your pre-baby body (or even better!) while keeping your energy up and safely incorporating your baby into your workout! Our specialized programs include: •1 hour classes designed by a CSEP- Certified Exercise Physiologist candidate •personalized instruction from experienced Certified PersonalTrainers* •limited class size (12-15 participants) •comprehensive education package •a take-home workout program •a prenatal and postnatal nutrition plan** *All our trainers are moms and are also Certified Pre & Post Natal Fitness Specialists ** Registered Dietician, Jennifer House, from First Step Nutrition, has created a nutrition plan specially for us! Your sample nutrition plan will include modifcations for expectant and nursing moms, as well as recipes and a grocery list! CLASS FORMATS Prenatal Conditioning Stay fit and strong thoughout your pregnancy with this class tailored specifically for moms-to-be. Learn safe and effective exercises to help strengthen the muscles essential for having a healthy pregnancy and easier birth! Postnatal Conditioning Get your body back (or even better!) with this innovative boot-camp style class. This multi-level workout will take you from postpartum rehab to hot mama fab in no time! Personalized attention from our trainers means your workout will be tailored for your needs and abilities. Expect to work your entire body from head to toe; working on strength with your baby as resistance (other options provided), balance, cardio and agility, and restoring your core progressively. Little ones up to age 3 are welcome to this class. Mom & Tot Conditioning This is not your ordinary mom and tot fitness class! This program accommodates moms with one or two children, from newborn to preschoolers. Challenge your fitness as you keep up with your tot in this fun filled workout that takes you back to your own childhood! The class includes games, activities and boot camp drills (tots love these!), a core strength component for mom, and ends with stretching for both mom and tot to enjoy. This class is suitable for 3 - 5 year olds. Babies are welcome to come to come along for the ride. What a great way to lay the foundation for exercise as a lifelong, fun, family activity! Stroller Conditioning This is our outdoor version of our postnatal conditioning class! This multi-level workout will get your body back (or even better!) quickly and safely. We will take you from postpartum rehab to hot mama fab in no time! You will work at your own level, beginner to advanced, with the guidance of our trainers. Get a full body workout that includes functional strength training, cardio drills, power walking/jogging/sprinting, agility and progressive core work and more!
