Register for each individual 4 week session and save 10%
Commit to a 12 week session (or 3 consecutive 4 week sessions) and save 20%

What sets your classes apart from other pre & post natal fitness classes?
Our programs are designed by a CSEP-Certified Exercise Phyisologist candidate. This is the most advanced certification in the health
and fitness industry!

Bellies, Babies & Beyond classes are designed specifically for the new and expectant mom, and are easily modified to suit the
seasoned athlete or the aspiring beginner. Babies are welcome to all of our postpartum classes. Our classes are progressive like a
personal training program.

We offer high quality instruction with low instructor-to-student class ratios. This maximizes personalized instruction and creates an
interactive, fun and supportive workout environment for moms and moms-to-be.

What are the qualifications of the fitness trainers?
Our intructors are Certifed Pre & Post Natal Fitness Specialists and maintain the most current knowledge in the field through continuing
education programs. Our trainers are fully insured by SportCan Insurance, the ONLY company that provides coverage for fitness classes
that has moms incorporating their babies, toddlers or preschoolers in the workout.

Why do I need a PARmed-X for Pregnancy?
It is very important to have the PARmed-X for Pregnancy, we're in this for the long haul and your safety is our highest concern. Not only
does this requirement follow professional protocol, but we can't create the safest and most effective programs for you until this
information is obtained. No exceptions are made.

When can I start exercising after baby is born?
Before starting any exercise program, you should check with your doctor to see if it appropriate for you.

We follow the guidelines for prenatal and postnatal exercise set forth by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (SOGC) and
Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP)
for our fitness programming. If you have had a normal vaginal birth, you can start 2 - 4
weeks postpartum. If you have had a complicated birth or a caesarean section, you may start at 4 - 6 weeks postpartum. The best
gauge is to listen to your body. Some moms are ready jump back into working out right away; others need a few months before they are
ready to exercise again.

What does my baby do in the class?
In our indoor programs, your baby will provide progressive resistance as you lift and hold him or her for many of the exercises. As one
participant said, "as my baby grows, so does my strength!". Modifications or alternatives are always provided if your baby is very young
or too heavy for any exercise.

With our outdoor programs, your baby will generally remain in the stroller for most of the class, however, depending on the class format
for the day, you may be using your baby as resistance.

My little one is no longer non-mobile! Can I still come to classes?
Our classes accommodate little ones up to 5 years of age and are welcome to accompany mom if they are happy staying by moms side
for the duration of the class. All children are the sole responsibility of the parent. The safety of your little ones is our top priority, and we
will never do anything that will put your little one at risk of getting hurt. For added protection for when mobile babies and toddlers are not
included in the workout, we provide a large play yard within arms reach of mom.



What should I wear or bring to class?
Indoor classes
~ Water
~yoga mat or towel for ground
~comfortable workout wear and a supportive bra
~ a change of shoes: good running/cross training shoes

Outdoor classes
~Water
~Yoga mat or towel for the ground
~comfortable workout wear and a supportive bra
~Good running/cross training shoes
~Stroller, preferably a baby jogger (although not required)
~Sun block and other items to protect you and your baby from Mother Nature

What if my baby is fussy?
If your baby needs your attention, feel free to care for your baby as needed, we understand your baby is your first priority. We are very
flexible, and will show you how to incorporate your baby into the workout. Our instructor will adapt the class when necessary to ensure
that all moms and babies are happy!

POLICIES
Registration Process
-Classes are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.

Payment
-Only payment in full secures your spot in a class. No reserving or holding spots will be permitted. We accept credit card payment via
PayPal, and we also accept payment by check or cash. Payment may be made through the web site, in person, or by mail.
-A $25.00 fee will be assessed for all refunds.

Refunds
-Due to the limited number of partipants accepted, space must be paid for regardless of attendance. Bellies, Babies & Beyond will not
offer refunds once classes have commenced. Participants may contact Bellies, Babies & Beyond within seven (7) days of the beginning
of a session for a refund, and will incur a $25 administration fee.
-In the event that Bellies, Babies & Beyond must cancel a class before the start of a session, and cannot place you in a comparable
class, a full refund will be issued.
-In the event that Bellies, Babies & Beyond must cancel a class after the start of a session, only the remaining class credit will be
refunded.

Pro-rated Session Fee
-We encourage participants to join classes with open spots after the session has started for a pro-rated fee.
-Customers must pay for a class spot whether or not you can attend. Therefore, pro-rated fees are calculated based on the number of
classes remaining in the session and NOT the number of classes a customer can attend.
-No discounts allowed (including returning moms) when pro-rating fees for the session.
-Classes can be pro-rated for participants once the session is in progress but not before the first class of the session.
-Participants who cannot attend all the remaining classes in a session can make up classes. See our Make-up policy.

Make-up Classes
-We offer two ways to register for classes. You can register for a session, or you can drop-in. If you register for the session, you have
purchased all the classes in said session. If you need more flexibility, you may prefer to drop-in.
-We understand that you may not always be able to attend a class; therefore, we allow two make up classes per session. To qualify for a
make-up class, you must contact head office PRIOR to the class you will be missing, by calling 403-852-4650 or emailing
kim@belliesbabiesandbeyond.ca.
-Failure to contact us in advance of missing your class will result in forfeiting your missed class. No exceptions.
-Please contact us to arrange a make-up class.
-Your missed class must be made up in the same session; this can be done at the same location on an alternate day (if available), or at
a different location (yes, we know this can be inconvenient, but we have had many moms do this).
-Make-up classes are subject to availability, ie. If the class you want to attend to do your make up class is full, we will not be able to
accommodate you.
-Missed classes cannot be carried over to the next session.
-If appropriate make-up classes are not available before the end of the session, we cannot refund for missed classes.

Sick Children
-Please do not bring sick children to class. Children deemed sick will be lead to you being asked not to participate. We kindly ask that
you don't put our instructors in this position by keeping sick kids home.
Instructor Substitutions
-We schedule our instructors to avoid any unnecessary staff absences; however, at times an instructor may be unavoidably absent.
Should your instructor be absent, we will provide a competent substitute. In the extreme case, when no substitute can be provided, we
will arrange a make-up class or issue a credit worth the full value of the class. We at no time guarantee the same instructor all session
long although we do work hard to maintain this continuity
