Some people did a study of the inequality between women and men in countries, and Canada is better than both the USA and Great Britain at reducing societal biases based on sex. Take that you the-woman-should-stay-in-the-home types! Here is a link to an article Here is a link to the study itself |

Well that's cool. As a libertarian I certainly support a woman's legal right to have all the same opportunities and freedoms as a man.
Just thought I would make sure Dave knows that I agree that Canada wins over the U.S. for staying out of Iraq (and note I said I didn't support the Bush administration either). When I criticized Canada I was just referring to property control issues. Free enterprise over government interference....that sort of stuff.
Anyhow, congrats to Canada on this one.
