Week Off ?? When DO you work?

Yeah, Randy called me because he couldn't remember which town you lived in ... until he called me that is. Then he remembered right away.

Forget the tooth, let's work on some sort of reparative shock thereapy for his frontal lobes.

If you can get a price for his tooth, I'm sure I can come up with a couple of bucks to clean him up a bit. Anything that makes him look less homeless is a good thing as far as I'm concerned.

That skate show / exhibit looks cool.
I've seen people setting it up all week, but I wasn't sure exactly what was going on in there. Barry's got one of his boards on the wall, and there looks to be plenty 'o old school stuff in there as well.

As far as seeing some live music and the exhibit, I'm up for that.

Week Off!!

OK that last post was not about alienating people, it was about saying that I'm not quite as much of a freak as I was before. I have even committed the ultimate act of rebellion and am growing a beard! So do you guys think I'm cool now? Huh? Huh? Pathetic, I know.

Anyway, Randy-Lion called me last night to inform me about a skate art show coming up at the gallery by Tongue n' Groove. I told him I'd talk to Rick about maybe going out during the week to see the exhibit and maybe some live music. What do you think?

Anyone interested in helping Randy pay for tooth replacement? He metioned that he is looking into it and I thought maybe we could donate some $ to help him out. I could talk to his dentist (who is also mine) and see if we could work out something like mailing him some money or something. Anyone interested?

I Think I Get It Now

Usually when someone discusses the church in a questioning manner I get defensive. But why should I? If my church is the “only true and living church on the face of the earth” it should be able to any query put to it. I should be willing to hear any ideas put forth because I know that in the end they’ll all be answered satisfactorily. If these questions can’t be answered to my satisfaction that’s when I should be concerned. Or maybe I just don’t have enough faith.

Dave, I used to wonder why you talked so much about being happy. *I think* that it is because when you leave the church of course you couldn’t be happy! You must be miserable because only faithful members of the church can be truly happy, right?

Anyway, I love and respect you guys a lot and I’m glad we’re friends.

PS I can’t go anywhere the week of Family Day. Sorry, something came up that I could only do that week. We could get together and hang out some evening.
