Do you think YOU have problems with your kids?

I assure you you have it better than the folks in this story.

Yikes!!
If little Johnny wants something, you better think twice about saying no...if this is your kid.

Hey Spirit of Alberta Alumni !!

I've started a new blog:

spiritofalbertarip.blogspot.com

It's all about the Spirit of Alberta.

I found out some interesting news on the weekend as well...

Guess who decided to come back and teach the band program?

Bill Simon!!!

I guess we will know shortly if there's any fight left in the band program.

I'm going to trip you out...this is deep

Okay I had a really strange experience.

I was sleeping in and, as frequently happens when I get up and go back to sleep, I have dreams I can remember. In this particular dream, a character in it made a reference to me 'going all Iggy Pop' at one point.

Well here's the weird part:
I didn't get the reference in my dream. I didn't understand what 'going all Iggy Pop' meant. I woke up still not understanding the reference, and it wasn't until an hour later that I realized that it was because I had taken off my shirt in the dream.

The reference itself is not important. It's the fact that my mind made up a dream which included a reference that I didn't consciously understand. I mean it was almost as if there was a conduit from the recesses of my mind that pulled this obscure fact out, and it took me a while, cognitively, to connect the dots.

Or, was it that my mind put in a placeholder into my dream, and my mind pulled out the Iggy Pop reference and rewrote the history in my mind to make me think that there was actually an Iggy Pop reference the whole time.

I will now go back to consuming vast quantities of peyote.

USA #1

Here's an interesting article about the USA.
Keep reading all the way to the end, because some of the biggest shockers come last.
It kinda makes me wonder where Canada would place in some of these statistics, being the liberal socialistic democracy that we are.

We're #1!!

Hey, just so all know...

If you're looking for the number one site for "Dave Sannes" (according to Yahoo!!) it's this blog.

Check It Out

EDIT: Okay, apparently we're now #2 ... Will the PR blog drop to #3? Stay tuned for this and other exciting details.

EDIT2: And in a strange twist of fate, we're back to #1. Yahoo!! must have some funky logic running their search engine.
