By becoming a member of the B.H.A.S. you are agreeing to be a safe and environmentally conscious rider.
B.H.A.S. works on access management with SUSTAINABLE RESOURCES in order to retain the access level that many ATV enthusiasts currently enjoy in the Bighorn backcountry. As a responsible ATV user it is extremely important to implement proper trail etiquette in order to maintain backcountry access not only for the present-day but for the future as well. This etiquette includes staying on the existing trails, keeping away from soft ground (swamps, marshes, mud holes), and using existing bridges or crossing at right angles to waterway embankments.
Your B.H.A.S. membership also includes a membership to the Alberta Off-Highway Vehicle Association (our main voice) as well as a subscription to the "Riders West" magazine (advertisers of ATV activities in Alberta).
Upon receipt of your membership form and fee you will be sent a membership card, B.H.A.S. sticker (for the left side of your unit), and our most recent news letter (published twice a year) which contains important information such as backcountry trail maintenance schedules, B.H.A.S. activities, and notices.
