The Nova Scotia Postage Stamp

Engraved and printed by the American Bank Note Co. in 1860.

The portrait of Queen Victoria was later used in 1865 on the 12¢ Newfoundland

postage stamp and the second issue bill stamps.

 

In 1864 it was used on a $20 note for the Peoples Bank of Halifax and

in 1866 for 10 soles of the London Bank of Mexico & South America, Lima, Peru.
