Is your home suffering from Night Blindness?

Symptom:  Dark spots and shadows throughout the room.

Ambient Lighting  Create a triangle of light with your table and floor lamps to provide uniform lighting throughout the room.

Task Lighting  Place a lamp near a reading chair, on desk tops, and direct your pot or track lighting over work surfaces.

Accent Lighting  Put your dining room light fixture on a dimmer switch and hang the fixture around 36 inches above the table.  Illuminate your tall floor plants with uplighting.  Add small lights above special wall art.  Inside shelving units add small bookcase light fixtures or small puck lights. 

Decorative Lighting  Candles, curio/china cabinet down lights, and water feature lighting all add ambience when entertaining.
