RCA BC-7A Broadcast Console - 1960s - from CJAV

This board is stereo-capable! A front-panel switch allows this board to be used in three modes: Parallel (both output lines are fed), Dual (board is two-sided - example: AM on the right VU, FM on the left), or Stereo (only capable on mixer 5, 6, 7, and 8). When performing a stereo origination, the remaining mixers cannot provide a monophonic left-right feed! These were the very early days of FM stereo, so the scaled-down capability for stereo probably suited production work, or for the part of the day when a station wasn't simulcasting. This is a solid-state console, with a mixture of germanium and silicon devices.
