This mixer came from CBC Vancouver. It is less intended for broadcast than others at SPARC. Yet by the evidence, it was used in Prince Rupert, BC, for local control, likely in monophonic service for their outlet there.
Having linear faders, it's passable for stereo service. It does have a built-in monitor speaker. Notice the rear panel - each of the ten inputs can be switched among two line and two microphone inputs.
Boards from Ward Beck Systems are never light, and this one is no exception. We received it in a sturdy aluminum carrying case. The picture shows it sitting in the bottom half. When it's all boxed, ready for the road, it is more than a one-man lift!
