Alberta Guide Dog
Services We are a registered charity that provides
professionally trained guide dogs for blind and visually impaired Albertans.
Our primary focus is on young people, aged 13 to 18. It costs nearly $40,000
and takes two years to graduate one guide dog. The recipient of the dog pays a
symbolic $1 fee.
Having a guide dog can make a huge difference in the life of a blind person,
giving them vastly increased independence. Donations from people like you make
