The Pet Loss Support Group
The Pet Loss Support Group is an Alberta Society and is a registered non-profit charity. We are a volunteer run organization based in Calgary, Alberta. We were established in 1990, and were the first group of this kind in Canada! Our group is dedicated to providing support to people who are struggling with their emotions concerning the death or physical loss of their companion animals. Our mandate is to educate the public about the importance of the human/companion animal bond and the grief process. We recognize that our companion animals are not "just pets" - they are much loved members of our families!
