Barandalf

As the Brandywine River flows south out of Evendim, the riverbanks are lined by stretches of sand dunes known as the Barandalf. The Hobbits of the Shire seldom venture this far north from Oatbarton and Dwaling, though the river teams with fish, for the dangers presented by the Sand Norbogs and Salamanders underscores the dangers of venturing too far north from the borders of the Shire.

Barad Tharsir

Along the eastern banks of the Brandywine, the remnanets of a palatial estate sit largely intact, looking out over the Barandalf. A large band of tomb robbers have recently made their way into the ruins, attracted by its distance from Ost Forod and other rival groups, as well as the promise of undiscovered riches.
