Clayburn Village
Clayburn Village is a unique, secluded enclave featuring the Clayburn Village Store & Tea Shop, clothing stores, farm produce, an art gallery and gift store, a heritage church and school, plus the site of the old brick plant. Built early in this century, this village of brick bungalows was a company town to one of the country's largest brick mills.
Parks & Recreation
Abbotsford has over 120 well maintained parks, totalling over 320 hectares of green space. Trethewey House is located near Mill Lake - "The Jewel of Abbotsford". A family of eagles have called Mill Lake their home for over five years. While walking the trail that circles the Lake you'll be sure to see at least one of the eagles in flight, with a spectacular view of Mount Baker as a backdrop. Abbotsford's Parks and Recreation Community Services departments offer diverse programs and services exclusively designed for seniors. (For more information see our "Links" page)
