The National Horse of
Canada Bill

As of April 30, 2002,
the Canadian Horse officially became Canada's National Horse
PARLIAMENTARY BILLS
An effort had been ongoing for most of the past decade to
have the Canadian Horse officially declared as the "National Horse" of Canada.
The following web sites document the series of different Parliamentary Bills
(both Private Members and Senate) which were been brought forth in an effort to
accomplish this.
Due to the persistence of The Canadien Horse Breeders of
Ontario, who assisted in having the Bill put forth as a Senate Bill, ultimately
success was achieved. This success was due also to the efforts of concerned
Canadian Horse lovers and breeders from all across North America who showed
their overwhelming support for this cause.
As a personal note from Cherry Creek Canadians, we
would just like to thank all of you who have helped to make this Bill come to
pass. Without the efforts of everyone working together, this Bill would never
have had the successful out come that it has. Thanks to everyone who
participated and who so passionately showed their support!!!
