A Shared Ministry of the United and Anglican Churches

St Aidan Church

All Are Welcome

Our church is a wonderful mix of people, from long-term residents with wisdom and stories to share to families with young children.  Our average attendance weekly is about twenty, and occasionally half of those might be children!

Sunday School

We do have an active Sunday School, led by parents on a rotation basis using a curriculum called ‘One Room Sunday School’.  In this model, all children meet together, and older children will help the younger ones with projects as needed.

Music

Our building has wonderful acoustics, and wonderful, enthusiastic singers.  We have a small choir, which can sing four-part harmony and often sings à capella. The Choir meets Thursday evening (7:30-9pm at the church) to prepare special music and to practice music that will be used at weekly services.

Fellowship Bunch

A Fellowship BUNCH emerged a few years ago, partly to attempt to share together many of the responsibilities (‘labours of love’) taken on over the past fifty years by Vonda and Bud Tugwell.  It has grown in numbers and in scope of service.  The BUNCH now operates a Thrift Store open on Saturdays (11am-2pm); organizes schedules for church cleaning and for our ‘coffee hour’; hosts our social functions and devises many creative ways to raise funds for our church.
