Mario Testani is the principal at the CSG Clinic. He is a registered Clinical Counselor and a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). In addition to his Masters degree in clinical counseling, he has had postgraduate training in marriage and family therapy as well as training at the Gottman Relationship Clinic in Seattle, Washington, a world renowned research and training facility. Mario specializes in working with couples, he also conducts workshops and couples, anger and pre-marital groups through the CSG clinic. Mario also works with parent-child issues, addictions, relationship issues, trauma, self-esteem and adolescent conflicts.

Karen White, M.Ed., RCC |

Karen's area of focus is with couples who struggle with their communication and find themselves distancing from one another or arguing and fighting on a regular basis. Karen is skilled in helping couples learn to listen to one another's needs and feelings and find ways of restoring intimacy and the excitement in their relationship.
Karen uses a strong foundation in family systems, solution focused and narrative therapy. She has a diverse background in counseling, teaching and business. She possesses expertise in grief and loss, relationship issues, marital conflict, parenting, addictions, communication skills, life transitions and stress.
Karen practices in both the Burnaby and the West Vancouver offices. |

Abby Stewart-Petterson, MA, RCC, CCC |

Abby Stewart-Petterson is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a Canadian Certified Counsellor offering psychotherapy and counselling services to individuals, couples and families. Abby has specialized training and extensive experience in the areas of eating disorder treatment, separation and divorce counselling and family mediation.
Abby brings compassion and a non-judgemental, client-centred approach to those struggling with a range of issues, some of which include anorexia, bulimia and other eating disorders, difficulties with food and body image, depression and low self esteem; and for those going through the difficult transition of separation and/or divorce.
Separation and/or divorce are recognized as one of the most stressful events in a family's life. Abby uses her expertise in mediation, communication skills, family systems, child development and conflict resolution to promote a more cooperative separation and/or divorce.
Abby's goal is to assist and support the individuals involved to emerge from the pain, focus on solutions and turn uncertainty into new possibilities.

The Consulting for Solutions Group (CSG)
is a clinical and consulting clinic that provides therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. In addition, the CSG clinic provides group programs in the areas of anger management, relationship enhancement, pre-marital counseling, grief and loss as well as critical incident debriefings.
