Common Ground's
most recent publication is a 20 page collection of community mapping
activities/resources called Mapping Our
Common Ground. Community mapping is a learning, development
and planning tool that connects people to one another and to their
home places. The booklet provides facilitation tips, real-life examples
and project ideas for community, school and Green mapping. They
are priced at $10 Canadian, or $10 U.S. to cover extra shipping

The Victoria
chapter of OXFAM Canada has just printed a 22 page resource/report
on food system mapping called Mapping Food
Matters. Food Mapping is a community-based approach to
taking stock of the abundant regional food resources available for
meeting local needs. This booklet includes some background theory,
case studies and a number of fun and interactive workshops all for
