Although Carbon Zinc batteries were Not Rechargeable, Back in the "Old Days", it was quite common the Rejuvinate them using a low current supply.Today we now have the Lithium Energizer battery. The "AA" is a Really good battery and the manufacturer claims you can get up to 600 pictures with a set of them in your camera. Well I haven't got that many, but I believe they are worth the Extra Cost.
Note: These batteries are also Not Rechargeable WARNING: This may cause your batteries to leak or Explode.
You do this Totally at your own risk: I accept no responsibility for any damage or injury resulting from the use of this info or circuit.
These 2 test batteries were Dead, incapable of taking another picture.
Using the Constant Current circuit below, I Rejuvinated 2 of these batteries in series at a rate of 50 mA for 24 hours.
This Brought the batteries up significantly, But I have no way of knowing exactially how much.
So far I have taken an addiional 50 pictures and still counting.
When they go dead again I will repeat this process and see how often it will work for me. Guaranteed, the more times this is done, the Greater the risk of Damage or Explosion.
