Pulse Induction, "Price List"

Previous Update: July, 2007.
Latest Updated: Feb 2009, (Subject to change without notice)

NOTE  Orders outside Canada May be Subject to:
"Tax and Duty Charges" upon Arrival to you.

Delivery time is whatever it takes for the Post office, by Air Mail. I usually send out the parts the same day I recieve the money and delivery usually takes about 8 business days. The Shipping Cost depends on Total Weight, as well as where you live. Payment is "Cash", in either "US Dollars, Euros or British Pounds". Sorry I Do NOT Accept "Western Union" or "Any other form of payment". All prices below are in US Funds! I do this because it is the most commonly known currency throughout the world.

The Circuit board by itself is $13.00 total, Including Shipping Cost. I make these circuit boards myself and they are not necessarly perfect, But definately Good Quality and Quite Useable. These boards are Etched on a 2 Ounce Glass Epoxy Board, Which is "Double the Copper Thickness" of most PCB's, allowing for better Current flow to the coil.

The Circuit Board and The REG1117A is $15.00 total, Including Shipping Cost.

The Circuit Board and a complete kit of the parts that mount directly onto the board is $60.00. NOTE: This kit contains the parts for BOTH the Pulse-1 and the Pulse-2, as well as the parts to make the Expanded Scale Meter circuit. You just Choose the parts you need for which Detector your making. It is Much Simpler for me to make just One Metal Detector Kit and Less chance of Errors.

All my Electronic Components are First Quality and are typically sold at my landed cost.

All The Standard Potentiometers are now $2.50 Each. (A $0.50 Increase over previous) (Sorry, I had to increase the prices for "R2, VR3, VR4, R5A, R7A and R9A") Note: VR3 has a built in "on/off Switch that you can use, if you want to. A Suitable Micro-Amp Meter (VU Meter, as Pictured in my article) is $8.00. The "Pizo Transducer" (Buzzer) is now $2.50 more. (A $0.50 Increase over previous) I Chose this one because it Works BETTER than Most Others in this application. Solder to do this project, with a water based resin "Kester 331 solder" is $2.00 (And I Supply Enough Solder to do at least 2 Boards, if soldered properly.) *** "It is Essential: To Remove all the solder flux from the Completed Circuit Board". Contrary to Manufacturers Claims, it Does Conduct and will Definately result in poor performance of this detector. The flux in the solder above can be easily removed in just warm running water. So I highly recommend this "Kester 331" 0.75mm Solder.

Awhile ago, One guy wrote me and told me he bought the parts cheaper than my prices. Even Worse, He Implied my prices were a Ripoff. So Can YOU, Use Cheap parts, "If you Really want to". There are Prices for good quality parts and there are Prices for cheap/junk quality parts. Cheap Capacitors, as well as Poor Quality Resistors WILL result in "Unstable Performance". "Its Your Choice". And, If you consider all parts costs, plus the shipping charges to get these parts Elsewhere, from numerous sources, "I am Quite sure you will Pay MORE than My total charges".

"I'm Not Out to Sell Anyone Anything". This is a Lot of work for me at No Gain. I ONLY Offer this service to help out those persons that have trouble getting these parts Elsewhere. Except for PCB's & Custom made Coils, My Selling Prices are at My Landed Cost and are "VERY FAIR". This is Not a Business for me, I just like to see Electronic hobbiest having fun. Considering Postage and especially handling charges from most companies, My parts are probably cheaper (I buy most parts in Hundred or Thousand lots, getting a better price) and fit the board better. I do make a profit on PCB's, Coils and some assembly work, which helps a bit to offsets my costs on designing new projects for viewers of this website. If you have any questions or problems, Just E-mail me, I will reply.

Take care........Gary
