The Bio

After graduating from BCIT in 1966 with a Technology Diploma in Computer Systems,
spent 30 years as a foot soldier in the IT business, mostly in a medium size full service telecom company.

In the early part of career, did the big iron systems programmer thing. Tended to be lead hand for the introduction of things
like large scale transaction processing and database systems including major infrastructure transitions.
As an architect, participated in core application systems for front and back office as well as provisioning and network support.
Later positions included capacity planning, configuration management, hardware acquisitions and software engineering.

Final years, a few diverse and interest assignments, new business initiative,
technology planning, internet and my current passion, IT systems architecture.

On the architecture front,
my latest and greatest is offered for your perusal at

Abstract

The context is NOT about the what the best architecture is,
it's about CSF for why and how you get one and evolve it!
For masters, it's all common knowledge, mostly plundered pictures and plagiarized prose, a great refresher.
Your patronage will be grateful appreciated, have a fun day.
