COOK’S ASSISTANT

The Cook’s Assistant will:

  1. Respect all camp rules, regulations and policies.

  2. Attend all pre-camp training sessions and regular in-camp staff meetings.

  3. Make every effort to maintain a clean and effectively productive kitchen environment, meeting all required health standards.

  4. Assist in the preparation of meals and snacks under the direction of the Camp Cook.

  5. Perform general kitchen duties such as cleaning of grills, pots and pans, and kitchen floor.

  6. Be available to receive and unpack deliveries of food and other supplies.

  7. May be asked by the Camp Cook to assume his or her duties during the cook’s absence from camp.

  8. As time permits, participate in other camp programs.  Share his/her Christian faith and bring it into those program activities whenever possible.

  9. Participate in the evaluation process.

  10. Hold a current Foodsafe Certificate.
