about Mon noM Artwear

What is Mon noM Artwear?
Mon noM Artwear is a clothing design and production studio in the beautiful Okanagan valley, British Columbia. Every garment is designed, cut and sewn in house. 
During the week, the Mon noM team is hard at work creating in their home based studio. On the weekends, they are on the road, selling their wears at festivals and markets at various locations throughout  the Okanagan. 

Design
Form, function, quality and consistency. Cindy, Mon noM's designer, is a fussy one! She designs, drafts and sizes all of her patterns. A firm believer in dependable quality, each piece is cut and sewn meticulously and precisely. The creative aspects of Mon noM lie in the original designs, concepts and overall versatility of every piece... the actual construction of each and every garment is very precise, clean and consistent. The time and effort that goes into making each garment, is a priority of every Mon noM. Quality is assured, one stitch at a time. 

Collection
What a fabulous collection! Soft flattering lines, great attention to detail... absolute comfort and style for women. Throughout the collection, you will notice lacing, scalloped hems, bead detail, curvy hems and diagonal lines. These designs are both figure flattering and stylish. Great effort has gone into the fit of these garments, with styles that flatter real women. Sizes range from X-small to XX-Large and custom cut garments are always available for harder to fit women. 

The mannequin used in the photos on this website is very petite, but in no way represents Mon noM's average client. The styles are very flattering on many figure types.
The fabric that makes these wonderful clothes is Rayon Lycra jersey. The fabric is soft, has a wonderful drape and look. The coordinating colours coupled with the layer possibilities of the line, make these garments so versatile.
Each piece is made in house by Cindy and J, true free spirits. 
Mon noM clothing seems to bring out the free spirit in all who wear it.
